Returns and Refunds Policy

This Returns & Refunds Policy applies to all purchases made through the Dog Disciple website. By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to the terms set out below.
- Made to Order Products
All products sold by Dog Disciple are produced on a made-to-order basis. This means that items are manufactured specifically for each order once it has been placed. By completing an order you acknowledge that you are ordering a bespoke product that enters production immediately.
Due to the custom nature of these products, we do not offer returns or refunds for change of mind, incorrect size selection, or preference-based reasons, except where required by applicable consumer protection laws.
- Faulty, Defective, or Incorrect Items
We stand by the quality of our products. If your order arrives damaged, defective, incorrect (different to size/colour ordered), or contains a significant manufacturing error (e.g. misprint) we will, upon confirmation, provide a replacement at no cost to you or a full refund.
To qualify for a replacement or refund you must: notify us within 30 days of receiving the item by contacting us at info@dogdisciple.com . Your notification should include a clear description of the issue, your order number and, clear photographic evidence showing the defect or damage.
In most cases, defective or incorrect items do not need to be returned.
- Fit, Fabric and Product Expectations
All garments sold through our store are made to order and produced according to the specifications outlined on the relevant product page. Product descriptions may include details such as garment type, fit style (for example, retail, slim, boxy, or oversized), fabric composition, and approximate fabric weight or thickness where available.
Refunds or exchanges will not be provided where a product matches the description provided and the request is based on personal preference or expectation. This includes, but is not limited to, expectations regarding fit, sizing, fabric thickness, weight, drape, or overall feel of the garment.
We encourage you to review all fit descriptions and product details carefully before placing an order. If you are unsure about sizing, fit, or fabric characteristics, please contact us prior to purchase.
Because our products are made and fulfilled to order, we are unable to provide a physical return address for items ordered in an incorrect size or style. Where a product is not faulty and matches the product description, refunds or exchanges are not available. In these situations, we encourage you to consider donating the item to a charity or someone in need, helping reduce waste and extend the life of the product.
- Sizing and Colour Discrepancies
Please refer carefully to the Size Chart on each product page before ordering. We do not offer refunds for items ordered in the wrong size.
Due to variations in screen calibrations and the digital printing process, we cannot guarantee an exact colour match to the colours shown on your screen. Minor colour variations are not considered manufacturing defects
- Damaged Items During Shipping
If your order arrives damaged please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@dogdisciple.com and provide the following:
- Your Order Number
- Clear photos of the damaged item
- A photo of the shipping packaging(this is required for us to file a claim with the courier)
We will assess the issue and, once verified, provide a replacement at no cost to you. If a replacement is not possible (e.g. item out of stock) a full refund will be issued.
- Non-delivery
We are not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect address provided by you. It is your responsibility to ensure shipping address is correct and current.
If an item is deemed Lost in Transit by the carrier we will ship a replacement at no cost to you.
A product is considered delivered when the carrier shows the tracking status as Delivered. If tracking shows Delivered but was not received, we cannot verify non delivery and you will not be eligible for a refund. If you choose non tracked delivery, the order is considered delivered once it’s handed to the carrier.
If a delivery is refused by the customer or returned to sender due to an incorrect address you will not be eligible for a refund.
- Consumer Guarantees and Legal Rights
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under applicable consumer protection laws in your country or region.
For Australian consumers, this includes the Australian Consumer Law, which provides guarantees that cannot be excluded.
- Refund Method and Processing
Once approved refunds will be issued using the original payment method within 10 business days. Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider and financial institution. For security and fraud prevention we cannot issue refunds to a different card or bank account. If your card has expired please contact your financial institution to arrange a re-route.
Shipping fees are non-refundable, except where required by law.
- Order Cancellations
As our production process begins almost immediately after an order is placed cancellations are only possible within 12 hours of purchase. Once an order has moved into production it cannot be cancelled or modified.
